The story
Why I built
PlayAsOne.
I built PlayAsOne out of a personal frustration, but also out of something I genuinely love: playing games with friends. I’m highly competitive by nature. Whenever I game or play sports, I want to give everything I have to win. But when I started gaming more with friends, I noticed something. Not everyone naturally brings that same level of passion or commitment. And when there is nothing at stake, no progression and no bigger goal to chase, some of that excitement can quickly disappear.
That’s why I created PlayAsOne.
A platform designed to give every player something to play for and turn casual gaming moments into shared experiences that people genuinely care about. Each player builds a unique gaming identity that grows with every game they play, every result they achieve and every challenge they take on. Through XP, badges, statistics, leaderboards, leagues and tournaments, PlayAsOne continuously creates new goals to pursue and new reasons to come back.
But ultimately, PlayAsOne is about much more than scores and rankings.
I believe play has the power to connect people. Friends become teammates and rivals, and with shared passion and purpose, even the simplest game can create unforgettable moments. PlayAsOne doesn’t just make gaming more competitive. It gives every game more meaning. It transforms individual gaming sessions into progression, recognition, rivalry and community. Because when every player has something to play for, people don’t just play against each other. They play together as one.
